Frequently asked questions.

How does coaching differ from mentoring and other support professions?

Professional coaching focuses on setting goals, creating outcomes, and managing personal change, per the International Coaching Federation’s website. And whereas therapy, counseling and other support looks to heal wounds from the past, coaching looks more to the future to help clients become the best possible version of themselves.

How does the coaching process work?

A free sample session helps see if we fit. A Discovery Session determines how we’ll partner, your goals, and intention. Subsequent sessions include coaching to a topic of your choice and a helpful, uplifting exercise to build clarity and awareness. Each session concludes with co-created action steps. For communications coaching, we create a hybrid of coaching, training, and mental fitness building.

How much does coaching cost?

Sessions range from $350 to $500 per individual session. Group or team coaching sits at $350 per one-hour session. Mental fitness and/or communications training sessions charge at $2,000 per day. [Note to Dan: I may not have my rates published as the goal becomes going after CEOs and especially those who can pay more. I’m also open to removing this page.]

How long (and frequently) must I coach?

Entirely up to you! Coaching clients coach weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Discounts exist for bookings of up to six sessions.
